Queensburgh is a middle-class suburb in south-western Durban in KwaZulu-Natal Province, also known as the Zulu Kingdom. Its name was established in 1954 when Queen Elizabeth II was crowned, the suburb of Malvern changing its name to Queensburgh in honour of the occasion. This popular area has grown so much since then that the name Malvern has been resuscitated as a mini-suburb within Queensburgh.
